🚨 Rogue Traders Alert – Burghill Area 🚨

Hello local residents,

We’ve received reports that rogue traders may be operating in the Burghill area. Some residents have had unexpected visits from individuals offering roof cleaning and other jobs on the doorstep. At this stage, we’re not aware of anyone being scammed or losing money, but we want to make sure everyone stays safe and informed.

🔍 Spotting Rogue Traders – Red Flags to Watch For:

Rogue traders often start by offering small, low-cost jobs to gain trust, but once work begins, they may falsely claim that further repairs are urgently needed, quickly inflating the price to far more than originally quoted. Sadly, they often target vulnerable individuals, hoping they won’t feel confident enough to challenge the demands.

👀 Be vigilant and look out for one another.
If you see anything suspicious or feel unsure about someone knocking at your door, trust your instincts.
